Clay Christensen

PRESIDENT

Clay Christensen was appointed as the President of Mountainland Technical College in 2006.  He provides leadership for students, staff, Trustees, business & industry, and the educational community in the Mountainland Region.

Kirt Michaelis

Vice President, Administrative Services/CFO

Kirt has been the Vice President of Administrative Services at Mountainland Technical College since 2004.  In his role, he supports financial operations, facilities, human resources, student services, institutional research, financial aid, development and alumni services, and technology services.

Holly Peterson

Vice President, Instruction

Holly is an experienced educator and advocate for technical education. As Vice President of Instruction, she works with program directors, coordinators and faculty to continuously improve the quality of programs. With a focus on student success, she supports program planning, new initiatives in teaching and learning, faculty development, and the expansion of hybrid education.

Joseph Demma

Vice President, College Relations

A former Assistant Commissioner for the Utah System of Technical Colleges, Joseph became Vice President of College Relations for Mountainland Technical College in 2018. In his role, he supports government affairs, communications, community affairs, the custom fit program, and the student success team.
