Joseph M. Demma

Vice President, College Relations

A former Assistant Commissioner for the Utah System of Technical Colleges, Joseph became Vice President of College Relations for Mountainland Technical College in 2018. In his role, he supports government affairs, communications, community affairs, the custom fit program, and the student success team.

Joseph’s two decades of public service began in the halls of the United States House of Representatives as a Legislative Assistant. In 2005, he joined the senior staff of Governor Jon M. Huntsman, Jr. as Chief of Staff to Lt. Governor Gary Herbert and later managed Herbert’s historic election as Utah’s 17th Governor. His advocacy for lifelong learning also includes his recent return to school, where he is pursuing a doctorate. Joseph and his wife, Stacy, have three children and live in Sandy.
