Automotive & Diesel Technology programs receive Master Level ASE Accreditation.

Mountainland Technical College (MTECH) is proud to announce it has been granted the prestigious Master Level Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) accreditation, provided by the National Institute for ASE.
Mountainland has previously been ASE accredited and certified, but receiving the Master ASE accreditation is a testament to MTECH’s commitment to providing top-tier education and training in the automotive and diesel fields.
To achieve this recognition, the Automotive and Diesel Technology programs underwent a rigorous evaluation by the ASE Education Foundation. This evaluation included completing national standards of excellence in areas like instruction and curriculum, facilities, and equipment.
“Our instructors, staff and administration have worked closely with the ASE Education Foundation to make certain that our Automotive and Diesel programs would meet the strict ASE standards,” shares Trac Hendry, MTECH’s Director of Trades. “Now, we are delighted to join the ranks of the master-level ASE accredited training programs.
When a student graduates as a Master ASE technician, they can feel confident knowing that they have received the best education and training possible. This recognition opens up new opportunities for students seeking high-level, rewarding careers.
“Receiving this accreditation reflects the dedication of our faculty and staff to maintain the highest standards in education,” expresses MTECH President Clay Christensen. “This recognition reinforces MTECH’s position as an institution for individuals seeking a comprehensive and industry-relevant education.”
A Master Level ASE certification demonstrates each automotive and diesel student's growth, skill, and talent. This accreditation signifies that no matter what vehicle repair is needed, it’s in the excellent care of a professional who is an expert in vehicle repair.
