Breanne Dedrickson
Board Member
As a dedicated educational leader and advocate, Breanne Dedrickson brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to student success to the MTECH Board of Trustees. She currently serves as a member of the Wasatch County School District Board of Education, where she works to support policies and initiatives that strengthen schools and expand opportunities for students.
Her career in education began in the classroom, teaching ninth and tenth grade English at the high school level. There, she developed a strong foundation in curriculum, literacy, and student engagement. She later served as an assistant principal, gaining valuable experience in instructional leadership, faculty development, and school operations. She now serves as the principal of Liahona Preparatory Academy, where she leads school accreditation efforts, supports teachers in instructional best practices, and oversees academic advising to ensure students are prepared for college and career pathways.
Breanne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in English Teaching from Utah State University and a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Utah. Her academic preparation complements her professional experience, strengthening her ability to lead with vision and integrity.
Passionate about the transformative power of education, she is committed to helping students discover their potential and preparing them for meaningful futures. As a mother of four, she understands firsthand the importance of strong schools and is deeply invested in building educational systems that serve families and communities well.
