Most programs include the cost of books and supplies in the individual course fees. Check your program webpage to find our what your courses will cost. If your books and supplies are included in the cost of the course fees, you will receive these on your first day of class form your instructor. If needed, books and supplies can be ordered online. MTECH stores with snack, drinks, and a few basic supplies are located on our Lehi, Orem, and Spanish Fork campuses.
A student ID card is provided for each student, from your instructor, during the first week of class. All students are required to get a student ID picture taken in the testing center. If you lose your card, a replacement can be requested from student services for $5. Your student ID is required to test in our testing center, attend an externship, attend clinicals, and may be required to wear on campus. Your student ID card may also be used as a UTA pass for your transportation while you are enrolled in your program. You can also check here to see what library resources your student ID may give you access to.
You will need a parking pass to park in any of the MTECH parking lots. A parking pass is included in the cost of your fees. After registering, fill out the parking pass form. Once submitted, for Lehi, Orem, and Spanish Fork campus, you can pick up your pass at any of our student services offices. For Provo campus, please check with student services to make sure they received your form and registered your car for the parking garage.

The MTECH Testing Centers offer students and instructors a secure environment for exams, placement tests, and other certification tests. Located at our Lehi, Provo and Spanish Fork campuses. Photo ID is required.

As you near the end of your training and are ready to look for work in your field you can browse the MTECH Student Job Board located on the MTECH website. Employers in the area have sent in jobs specifically looking for MTECH graduates.

Our career services team is here to assist in creating a resume, mock interviews, and going over all your options for placement whether it's finding related employement or transferring your credits to continue your education at another institution.
Adequate nutrition is essential for the overall health and well being of our students. We know many college students may struggle with food insecurities due to financial constraints. Our free food pantry can help alleviate this burden by providing access to food items and basic personal hygiene products. Food pantries can be found at each campus. Check with student services to find the food pantry at your campus, check the student recources tab in canvas, or watch for your student resource email after your first day of school.
We offer free mental health counseling for all of our students through Trula counseling services while enrolled in your program. Trula also offers peer wellness coaching which is a collaborative and empowering process whereby students work with a trained peer coach to help them identify and achieve personal, academic, and wellness-related goals. Coaches provide a safe and supportive environment for students to explore strengths, overcome challenges, and develop strategies to lead fulfilling and balanced lives.
