New Student Orientation

Student Resources

Looking for textbooks? How about supplies? Just about everything you need to start and succeed in your MTECH program can be found at one of the MTECH Bookstores located at our Lehi Main campus, Orem campus or our Spanish Fork campus. You can also get snacks and some pretty cool MTECH shirts and hoodies.

A Student ID card is provided for each student. All students are required to get a Student ID picture taken in the Testing Center. If you lose your card, a replacement is $5.

This little card has power.  It is your pass to get into the Testing Center, attend an externship or clinical for your program, or get a great movie discount at a local theatre. It also grants you limited library privileges at all state college or university libraries, as well as BYU and Westminster.

You will need a parking pass to park in any of the MTECH parking lots. Every registered student gets a Parking Pass (included in your fees). You can download the Parking Pass form or pick one up from the Bookstore or Student Services.  Learn more...

Reminder: Park with others in mind!

The MTECH Testing Centers offer students and instructors a secure  environment for exams, placement tests, and other certification tests. Located at our Lehi Main, Orem and Spanish Fork campuses. Photo ID is required.

As you near the end of your training and are ready to look for work in your field you can browse the MTECH Student Job Board located on the MTECH website. Employers in the area have sent in jobs specifically looking for MTECH graduates. Check it out! Learn more ...

The MTECH Student Calendar has all of the important dates you need for events and registration, grades due, term and semester start and end dates. And because it is a shared Google calendar you can easily add it to your calendar so you don't miss a thing!

Students are trained on the technology available to them while enrolled at MTECH. This includes computers available for students to use, as well as software and equipment that is program specific. There is a Helpdesk available to students and faculty for technology issues on MTECH devices. They are available on all campuses and by an email to

Located at both our Lehi Main campus and our Spanish Fork campus, the student run Salon offers great services to not only the public but to our students as well. Hair cuts, nails and even a facial massage will save you time, money and you'll look and feel great!

When you need a quick breakfast or have been so busy studying you want something good to eat and close by, then stop in at the Mountainland Grill located on our Lehi Main campus. You'll find a great menu and great service.
