UTAH SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATION (USHE) DESCRIPTION:
The Nail Technician program provides the skills needed to work in a beauty or nail salon to perform natural nail care services including: manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements. Instruction includes sanitation, salon safety, nail and skin disorders, professional ethics, salon management, and licensing laws and rules. Upon completion of the program, students have the knowledge and skills needed to take the state written and practical examinations required for licensure.
