Sept. 3rd - Oct. 1st at 12pm (Lehi)

Dec. 15th - Jan. 15th at 12pm (Provo)

Feb. 27th - Mar. 27th at 12pm (Lehi)

May 19th - Jun. 19th at 12pm (Provo)

Please review the following:

Take the entrance assessment

Students must take the MTECH Entrance Assessment and score a passing rate or higher of at least a “4” OR provide alternative documentation to prove competency. The Entrance Assessment is free and takes about an hour to complete. Students wishing to waive this requirement can learn more by visiting mtec.edu/testing.

Complete Program Application

See above dates for application periods.

Students must satisfy each of the following:

Must be 18 years or older.

How to apply once applications are open:

Pay the $30 non-refundable program application fee to MTECH Student Services.
Completely fill out the online application packet and upload all of the following documents within the application:

  • Filled out and signed application forms
  • Receipt for the $30 MTECH application
  • Copy of high school and/or college transcripts
  • Current Resume or CV with job experience listed
  • Students will need to perform a drug screen and background check through Verified Credentials (Due before the end of the application period).
  • Students will need to provide proof of immunizations through Verified Credentials. Please visit https://scholar.verifiedcredentials.com/mtec and use code VWFYY-83997 to get started.
  • If you have previously applied to the Surgical Technology program and it has been less than a year since your last application, please email sasha.king@mtec.edu for a drug screen code.
