Culinary Arts II builds on the skills learned in the Culinary Arts I Program. The main focus of the second year Culinary Arts Program is to build management skills and teach students advanced cooking techniques in hot food preparation and presentation in but not limited to:
- Sauces and Soups
- Meats and Seafood
- Study professional cooking in state of the art kitchens.
- Develop management skills including inventory and menu plans by participating in MTECH’s Evenings of Fine Dining.
- Become a culinary professional by learning to put your passion into mixing the right ingredients and creating perfect dishes.

Registration Eligibility: Adults and high school seniors only.
Registration Availability: Registration for Fall 2019 opens April 23, 2019 at 8:00 am online on the MTECH Registration Portal and remains open until classes are full. It is recommended to create your MTECH Student Portal account in advance.
Program Length: 600 Hours. This works out to be approximately 200 calendar days not including weekends and holidays.

High School Students:Students should coordinate with home high school counselors prior to registration.
Entrance Assessment: Students must take the MTECH Entrance Assessment. The Entrance Assessment is free and takes about an hour to complete. No appointment is necessary. To learn more visit mtec.edu/testing.
