Automotive: Vehicle Emissions Course
The Emissions Test Preparation Training is a non-credit 20-hour class designed to help an auto technician prepare for the Utah County Emissions Certification, by gaining a basic knowledge of the automobile engine mechanical, cooling, fuel, electrical, and emission control systems. The material covered in this course will prepare the technician for the Utah County Emissions Test.
Registration Eligibility: Adults and high school students who are age 16 and older and at least a senior in high school.
Registration Availability:Registration for Fall 2019 opens April 23, 2019 at 8:00 am online on the MTECH Registration Portal and remains open until classes are full. It is recommended to create your MTECH Student Portal account in advance.
Program Length: 20 Hours.

Locations: MTECH Lehi Main Campus.
Financial Aid Eligible: This program is not eligible for Financial Aid and Veterans Assistance.
High School Students: Students should coordinate with home high school counselors prior to registration.

Students need to be able to show that they have some mechanic experience.
All students must have a valid driver's license, and is recommended to have a 10th grade competency level in Reading & English.
