Get the Scoop on Career and Technical Education Event was held on Monday, September 23, 2019, at the new Provo High School. About 2,000 students and parents were invited to the event to come learn about various career options that they can receive through a technical education. Students and parents had the flexibility to travel throughout Provo High to visit different college programs and career paths that they may be interested in. These programs varied from computer systems, healthcare, manufacturing, service trades, and even transportation. Some popular activities that students enjoyed were taste testing in culinary arts, getting their hair done in cosmetology, to even creating items like pens and wood carvings in the manufacturing departments. Students left the event feeling excited about what their future career could possibly hold, all while knowing the avenues to get there.
