Course Information:
As 3D printing becomes integral to modern manufacturing operations. MTECH has the unique opportunity to run a pilot course for 3D printing, with plans to add it to the full Automated Manufacturing Program in 2021-2022. Reliabuild is a local company that has been offering training to students who are interested in learning it to pair with their engineering or advanced manufacturing degree. In this program, students build their own 3-D printer, and learn the skills necessary to program it to print parts of their own design.

In the process, they learn to maintain and repair the machine. The printer is theirs to keep and work on at home. The lab will provide more advanced machines where students can expand their skills on commercial machinery. The program works in a "belt" system, where students progress from being a white belt, through yellow, green, blue and brown, to earn their black belt. Reliabuild will provide comprehensive, vetted, curriculum, along with an experienced instructor and lab assistant.

Total Course Length: 11 weeks.
Session: Evening.
