What is an "Articulation Agreement"?
Articulation agreements can help you transfer credits from one school to another, making it faster, and more cost-effective to earn your degree. They make it so you don’t have to repeat things you have already learned. One of the ways schools transfer these credits is through articulation agreements with other colleges and universities. Knowing how these agreements work can help you make sure you’re able to transfer as many credits as possible towards your degree.
Utah Valley University (UVU) Articulation Agreements
MTECH and UVU partner to ensure students move seamlessly from MTECH into degree programs. There are two ways this can happen:
- The R473 Articulation Agreement
This makes MTECH students eligible to earn 30 Hours of credit towards an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Applied Technology at Utah Valley University, after they have completed an MTECH Program that is at least 900 hours long.
30 hours of credit is almost half the work for an Associate’s Degree!
